My First "Kid"

Don't be too suprise, you see what you see. I have got a kid and it started one year back. I just received his annual report recently.

** Cover page that tell what really happen to Thailand World Vision.

Let me introduce to you, his name is Khunpakdee, Noppadon (the only boy with white T in the picture). He is a Thai. I swear to god, I never date with a Thai and till now I haven't been to Thailand to do any funny stuff. I meet him though World Vision. Why I choosed to sponsor him even though I can't speak a single Thai except "tong yam" and "kam kuun kap" just because he loves Math and Art.

World Vision is a famous NGO in the world (http://www.worldvision.org/). I don't think I need to explain more about World Vision. I have been constantly sponsoring him since last year Sept. It only requires RM50/month and directly charge to your credit card.

Few reasons that actually got me into this:-

1. By contributing to registered charity party could be discounted at the last part of the tax deduction. For example your this year income going to tax you RM1000, if you already made RM500 for charity then you'll only need to pay RM500. Of course you still can either contribute to our strong "police department" to buy Lancer Evo or those little cute children. Make you choice.

2. According to a book called "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind", ten percent of your income should go the give account. Meaning to say, you should do charity with your 10% income then you can become a richman. Not to mention the author of the book named T. Harv Eker so at least he has half acre land that prove he is rich. That's why I trusted him and start doing that. Believe me.... It is really a powerful book you should read. It works for me although I am not a richman yet but like the old saying "You'll get more when you give out". Now only 50 bucks per month nia......

3. I hate to give money to the bagger while I makan at restaurant or any hawker stall simply because I don't believe them and they don't provide receipt to me.

That's why I choose World Vision. They are more powerful until one of my competitor also called "Vision World Sdn Bhd".

There are many others NGO like UNICEF and etc doing very well. Welcome to share with me if you have other...

Full House - Ara Damansara

I bet a lot of people and blogger already been to NZX (Niu Zhe Xui) Full House restaurant and wrote something about it. Why am I still write something that a lot people has commented and could possibly can tell better than me? Just like my favourate food blog site http://kampungboycitygal.com/2008/09/full-house-nzx-ara-damansara-caption-to-be-updated/, they really did a good job in their blog.

In fact I have discovered some tramandous changed in NZX. I was not first time been to NZX and Full House restaurant but also quite couple of months that I have never go there and makan.

Last friday, I decided to go a romantic and cute restaurant with my kesian girlfriend, Thean so that she could reduce a bit of her tension caused by her job posting. My first thought is FULL HOUSE @ ARA DAMANSARA.

When we first got there.............
We were like been to a abondened site and 95% of the shop have closed down. This prove that property development is not always be success in KL. The developer Pathview Development Sdn Bhd has put a lot of efforts and advising for this place. They even invited some of the famous HK artist like Charmaine Sheh See Man somehow or rather it just did not turn out anyway. I believe one of the main reason is the excess. The place is damn hidden, you can only either use Subang Airport highway or pass though the Taman Mayang Mas to go be there.

Luckily enough, Full House is one of the remaining 5% shop that still open for business.
Tomoto Crab Soup with Cognac RM10.90. (Very thick and creamy, taste so so unless you love tomato very much)

Full House Club Sandwich (RM13.90, nothing to shout about and very suit for girls)
Full House Signature Chicken Chop (RM16.90, the chicken was nicely grilled and dressed up by raisen and plum source. VERY NICE)

Tiramisu (RM7.90, very nice deco and good for moody guy because it's sweet and mixture of Kahlua and coffee powder was damn good)

Honey Milk Green Tea (RM5.90, not so sweet but very smooth and nice)

Beside the food, they also selling some cute stuff like...

Mama Little Garten Brand - Grown your own Tau Ke

This lovely cute couple is not for sale.
Lastly it is a very impressive and passionate restaurant. Should try before it close down... TOUCH WOOD.....

Tanjung Bin Coal Shed

I believe everyone has experienced a question like "What is your job?" before, you properly answer whether you are a doctor, pharmacist, engineer and etc...... Of course those are very classic and straight forward answers from your standard two essay with title 'My ambition".

Unfortunately when you were only at standard two, you would not know there are plenty of different jobs in this world. Furthermore even engineer also could be a lot of different kind of engineer.

So what irritate me about the question is my job title. According to my offer letter, I am a "Building Solution Engineer". Make a guess. Do you have any idea about my job? Well, some of my friends even thought I provide pest control service.

Apparently "BUILDING SOLUTION" is just a market gimmick so you would not be able to know what I am doing and get interest to know more. In order to prove that I am not a cockroach killer. Let me show you a project that I have done - Tanjung Bin Coal Shed.
Basically it is a shed to cover the coal. For sure I would not simply show you the "lau ya" project, eventhough it a shed but show ma of course show you the most fancy one that I did.

It's a 2nd longest clear span portal frame building in Malaysia which has consist of 109meter & 102meter per bay and with 33meter tall building height.

Which equalvalent to 11 stories height building. Believe me it is really tall. Climb up to the top by using the small cat ladder could train you to join Fear Factor possibly to win some prices if you can make it in the goat testicle part as well.

What role do I play in this project????? I am the one who get a right price, coordinate all the technical aspect with the consultant and our own technical department (the real engineer), nego all the term and condition with client, the main contractor in this case. In short, I am a sales engineer. Now you know clearer about marketing gimmick???

Beside, because I also added my bosses in my facebook and just in case they accidentally view this blog so I want clarify that I am actually okey with "Building Solution Engineer" title. Hehe....

Don't believe me.....
I love my job till cannot let go the steel column.

Food Hunter - Soong Kee Beef Ball Mee

I have been stop blogging since three years back. At first I started with multiply.com, obviously it failed and no one has viewed what the hack I have returned over there. Well, I would say it's all multiply's fault (some more I named my blog "J's Blog", does it sound like apple brand new gadget or smt? :P). If not most possible that I could be more famous than Kenny (http://www.kennysia.com/) nowadays. Alright..... I admit the stuff I wrote over there is crab. Btw, I'm your big fans, Kenny. That's why Kenny is some body and I'm no body.

Again, what really got me back in action is I believe I could return a better sharing now as I have growth Mature enough. To share some of the makan place, thought and most properly the shit I facing over my daily life so that you guys could know what I have been doing.

After telling none related to Soong Kee Beef Mee. Below is the real story about the first ever food hunter review of mine.
Chui Thean and I used to makan around, as usual we have spotted a beef noodle which published in Newtide magazine.
So we quickly jumped into the car and drive directly to the place for our dinner. Because the place is located in KL and I thought I should be able to find it. Furthermore, my htc GPS can back me up if I could't find it. For the god know reason, the address published is Jalan Tan Siew Sin but the top of the magazine stated Jalan Silang. I tried searching both in MapKing 2007, the search result of Jalan Tan Siew Sin is ZERO but lucky enough we managed to find Jalan Silang (after checking though Jalan Silang has changed Jalan Tan Siew Sin). When we reached near Pudu station suddenly my lousy htc was pointing me to middle of no where.

It already 8.30pm and both of us were damn hungry yet we still didn't know where the hell is Jalan Silang. Before this I should tell you, we have never failed to find any makan place that we wanted to go. Thank God to let both of us found a stubborn partner. Immediately, we have decided to go the very tradisional way - map. Chui Thean was just telling me where to turn and which corner I have turn wrong from the MapKing's map not GPS. It's some kind like Rally Talking.

Believe me you should trust the one who pointing you the way especially the one is your girlfriend. Finally we have arrived the bloody Tan Siew Sin punya Jalan.

Immediately, you could able to see Soong Kee also cos it's just located at the corner of Jalan Tan Siew Sin.

We straight away ordered the signature dish of the restaurant of course it's Beef Ball noodle and one additional bowl of slice beef.

Accordingly to the magazine, the Lou Suu Fan is damn good. Unfortunately, it was running out when we arrived. I guess it must be very good and hot sales. Come to the tasting part, beef ball is marverous, fresh and chewy. Noodle is good but the slice beef is a little bit of over marinated so the taste is quite fake. Soup is some kind of very plain soup and nothing to shock about.

Overall it was a very good and yummy dinner. We have finished everything beside the bowl and it only cost RM15.00 for all (2 beef ball noodles and 1 large bowl of slice beef) excluding the petrol I wasted.

In order to celebrate the very "first" blogging and the succes of this food hunting trip. We have ordered the brand new Carlsberg Draught favour "Chili Blanded".

p/s: so sorry about the photo quantity it's all taken by my htc because I forgot to bring my DSLR. I'll attach better picture in my next post.
