Food Hunter - Soong Kee Beef Ball Mee

I have been stop blogging since three years back. At first I started with multiply.com, obviously it failed and no one has viewed what the hack I have returned over there. Well, I would say it's all multiply's fault (some more I named my blog "J's Blog", does it sound like apple brand new gadget or smt? :P). If not most possible that I could be more famous than Kenny (http://www.kennysia.com/) nowadays. Alright..... I admit the stuff I wrote over there is crab. Btw, I'm your big fans, Kenny. That's why Kenny is some body and I'm no body.

Again, what really got me back in action is I believe I could return a better sharing now as I have growth Mature enough. To share some of the makan place, thought and most properly the shit I facing over my daily life so that you guys could know what I have been doing.

After telling none related to Soong Kee Beef Mee. Below is the real story about the first ever food hunter review of mine.
Chui Thean and I used to makan around, as usual we have spotted a beef noodle which published in Newtide magazine.
So we quickly jumped into the car and drive directly to the place for our dinner. Because the place is located in KL and I thought I should be able to find it. Furthermore, my htc GPS can back me up if I could't find it. For the god know reason, the address published is Jalan Tan Siew Sin but the top of the magazine stated Jalan Silang. I tried searching both in MapKing 2007, the search result of Jalan Tan Siew Sin is ZERO but lucky enough we managed to find Jalan Silang (after checking though Jalan Silang has changed Jalan Tan Siew Sin). When we reached near Pudu station suddenly my lousy htc was pointing me to middle of no where.

It already 8.30pm and both of us were damn hungry yet we still didn't know where the hell is Jalan Silang. Before this I should tell you, we have never failed to find any makan place that we wanted to go. Thank God to let both of us found a stubborn partner. Immediately, we have decided to go the very tradisional way - map. Chui Thean was just telling me where to turn and which corner I have turn wrong from the MapKing's map not GPS. It's some kind like Rally Talking.

Believe me you should trust the one who pointing you the way especially the one is your girlfriend. Finally we have arrived the bloody Tan Siew Sin punya Jalan.

Immediately, you could able to see Soong Kee also cos it's just located at the corner of Jalan Tan Siew Sin.

We straight away ordered the signature dish of the restaurant of course it's Beef Ball noodle and one additional bowl of slice beef.

Accordingly to the magazine, the Lou Suu Fan is damn good. Unfortunately, it was running out when we arrived. I guess it must be very good and hot sales. Come to the tasting part, beef ball is marverous, fresh and chewy. Noodle is good but the slice beef is a little bit of over marinated so the taste is quite fake. Soup is some kind of very plain soup and nothing to shock about.

Overall it was a very good and yummy dinner. We have finished everything beside the bowl and it only cost RM15.00 for all (2 beef ball noodles and 1 large bowl of slice beef) excluding the petrol I wasted.

In order to celebrate the very "first" blogging and the succes of this food hunting trip. We have ordered the brand new Carlsberg Draught favour "Chili Blanded".

p/s: so sorry about the photo quantity it's all taken by my htc because I forgot to bring my DSLR. I'll attach better picture in my next post.
