The Psychology of Selling - Brian Tracy
"Many years ago, there was salesman who worked for Corning Glass. This was the year that the company introduced safety glass for the first time. This product contained a transparent plastic sheet between two pieces of glass, and as a result, it did not shatter the way most windshield glass did at that time.
This young salesman went out with his new product, and within one year he became the top-performing salesman of safety glass in North America. At the national sales conference, he received the first prize for sales performance and was invited to share his secret with the other sales people present. They wanted to know, "How did you sell so much more safety glass than anyone else?"
He explained, "First of all, I got the factory to cut some safety glass into six-inch squares as samples. Then I got ball-peen hammer, which I took with me on sales calls. When I walked in on the prospect, I would ask, 'Would you like to see a piece of glass that doesn't shatter?'
"Almost invariably, the prospect would say, 'That's not possible, I don't believe it.' I would then put the glass sample on his desk, take out the ball-peen hammer, and whack it. He would instinctively jump and throw up his hands to protect his eyes. When he looked down and saw that the glass had not shattered, he would be amazed.
"After that, it was simple. I would just ask, 'How much would you like?' take out my order pad, and begin writing."
Corning Glass was so impressed with this technique that the following year they bought ball-peen hammers for all their salespeople, provided them with samples of safety glass, and sent them out nationwide. The method really work; they sold glass by the carload.
At the end of the year, at the next national sales convention, the young salesman, for some reason, was still head and shoulders above every other salesperson in the country.
Once again, they invited him up on the stage to receive his award as the top salesperson in the country. And again they asked him, "What is it that you did this year to outsell everybody else?"
"Well," he said. "I knew that you were all going to use my method, so I had to come up with a new technique. Now when I go in to see the customer, I've got a ball-peen in one hand and the sample of safety glass in the other. I ask him, 'Would you like to see a piece of glass that doesn't shatter?'
"He usually says, 'I don't believe it.'
"Then, I put the piece of glass on his desk and I give him the hammer and have him hit it. When he tries and fails to smash the glass himself, he is totally convinced. Then I write up the order."
Have you got your glass & hammer story or technique? Please share with me..... Cos I don't have it...... :(

Super Trimo Seafood Restaurant @ Plaza Damas
当然与 all you can steamboat 相比,他们就显得重质不重量。

1. Not because they're lazy, go back home at 3pm during working hour and sleep.
2. Not because they could cost it to John's money, so they can simply belanjar people and makan.
Meet our company founder Mr. John Lysaght
I swear I have never done any one like above, Mr John.
Back to the topic, it is because a sales person required to entertain customer. Makan with client is one of the best way to get closer and understand better of your client. Basically you might sharing dishes, chit chatting while enjoying the nice food. Again eventually you will know whether your client likes spicy or original, coffee or tea. Even though, it would not be related for you to closing the deal but the time spending with them is worthwhile. Simply because you can dig more info and build up the repo between them until become friend.
In this case, whenever I got chance to eat with my customer sure enough I will ask whether any good food to recommend. By adding up all this, that's why sales person always know where to makan. You really can trust this (where to makan) on a sales person maybe not on their product XD.
Today, I want share one of the best chao xiu in town that my customer brought me to - Restaurant Spring Garden 阳光烧腊 @ Shah Alam Sri Muda.
They named their chao xiu in "glass chao xiu, in chinese called 玻璃叉烧". They use the medium fat chao xiu so the chao xiu looks very glossy and it tastes like glass surface. The smoothes will just melting when you put it into your mouth.
Not to mention, their roasted chicken, duck and dumpling also very nice.
You would imagine if a sales person has to take this kind of meal offen so indirectly killing the sales person softly...... (music up)
Yet I am still a sales person. That's why I am still have

La Casa @ Desa Park City
The restaurent called La Casa which located at Desa Park City Waterfront.
(Fresh Onion Soup - set dinner RM38.00, taste like oxtail soup but didn't see any tail inside)
(Slow braised chuck rib - set dinner RM38.00, the ribs was nicely done together with thicky gravy source. You would expect some chemical from your mouth after eating the dish because the source has very strong herb and garlic smell. Nevertheless, thr portion is just enough for me.)
(Iced Lemon Tea - set dinner RM38.00)
(Honey Mustard Chicken - RM25.00, healthy but sightly dry because they used chicken breast)

My First "Kid"
** Cover page that tell what really happen to Thailand World Vision.
Let me introduce to you, his name is Khunpakdee, Noppadon (the only boy with white T in the picture). He is a Thai. I swear to god, I never date with a Thai and till now I haven't been to Thailand to do any funny stuff. I meet him though World Vision. Why I choosed to sponsor him even though I can't speak a single Thai except "tong yam" and "kam kuun kap" just because he loves Math and Art.
World Vision is a famous NGO in the world (http://www.worldvision.org/). I don't think I need to explain more about World Vision. I have been constantly sponsoring him since last year Sept. It only requires RM50/month and directly charge to your credit card.
Few reasons that actually got me into this:-
1. By contributing to registered charity party could be discounted at the last part of the tax deduction. For example your this year income going to tax you RM1000, if you already made RM500 for charity then you'll only need to pay RM500. Of course you still can either contribute to our strong "police department" to buy Lancer Evo or those little cute children. Make you choice.
2. According to a book called "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind", ten percent of your income should go the give account. Meaning to say, you should do charity with your 10% income then you can become a richman. Not to mention the author of the book named T. Harv Eker so at least he has half acre land that prove he is rich. That's why I trusted him and start doing that. Believe me.... It is really a powerful book you should read. It works for me although I am not a richman yet but like the old saying "You'll get more when you give out". Now only 50 bucks per month nia......
3. I hate to give money to the bagger while I makan at restaurant or any hawker stall simply because I don't believe them and they don't provide receipt to me.
That's why I choose World Vision. They are more powerful until one of my competitor also called "Vision World Sdn Bhd".
There are many others NGO like UNICEF and etc doing very well. Welcome to share with me if you have other...
